This was a wonderful choice for our last meal in Rome! We were wandering around Trastevere without dinner plans, checking out a few spots, and decided to take a chance on Oste Nostro—it did not disappoint. It also ended up being our most reasonably priced meal of the trip. For two people, with a bottle of wine, two appetizers, and two main courses, the total was under 100 euros. The artichoke salad was a pleasant surprise—we hadn’t seen artichokes prepared that way before. It actually arrived by mistake, but the staff let us keep it in addition to the fried artichoke dish we’d ordered, which was also excellent. For our main courses, I had the lamb and my husband had the steak, both perfectly cooked and full of flavor. Overall, a great experience with delicious local Roman food, friendly service, and excellent value. Highly recommend!

Very nice place for a family dinner. The food was very very good! I like it a lot and definitely I would like to repeat this experience (hopefully very soon) in my next trip at Rome
Delicious, an original menu combining traditional Roman dishes with seasonal twists. Very generous portions and excellent value for money. The service is fast and efficient. The interior also perfectly fits to have drinks with friends. We returned for dinner a second time the next day. A must-see in Trastevere.
Pasta carbonara + Tiramisú is a must in this place. The attention of Gigi was fantastic! Very professional and providing a perfect service.
We had an outstanding experience at Oste Nostro, a wonderfully cozy place that perfectly captures the spirit of the Trastevere neighborhood. The food was excellent — we actually dined there two days in a row (just the two of us) and tried several dishes: the beef carpaccio, octopus, and pasta. The Gnocchetti “Ajo e Ojo” with peperoncino and shrimp were simply out of this world, just like the carbonara. Of course, we couldn’t skip the tiramisu — everything was exceptional, with a subtle, original twist. The service was also great, and the atmosphere was exactly what you’d hope to find in such an authentic place. Bonus points for a fantastic Negroni and a laid-back vibe that makes it easy to strike up conversations with other friendly guests.
Very high quality food, absolutely delicious. Highly recommend having dinner here, it's an excellent choice! The artichoke salad, ravioli and cheesecake I had were delicious - and I am sure anything else on the menu would have been as well.
Very tasty pasta, unusual options compared to a lot of other restaurants around. It was quite difficult for us to get the attention of any of the wait staff, even to pay, and we were sat out the back which has a different atmosphere. However, would overall recommend
Amazing bar/restaurant tucked away in a quiet lane. The food was good but the pasta dish was just too oily for my liking. The cocktails however was really good!! Ended up having I think 2/3 old fashions at this place! Staff are very polite and attentive.
